Food Security and Medical Supplies in Crisis

Across Cuba, families are facing an escalating humanitarian emergency. Even before the current crisis, an estimated 89% of people were living in extreme poverty, struggling to access basic necessities like food, medicine, and clean water. Today, a deepening fuel shortage has intensified these hardships — disrupting transportation and waste removal, limiting access to hospitals and pharmacies, reducing food distribution, and leaving the most vulnerable even further isolated.
Frequent blackouts leave families with just a few hours of electricity daily, severely limiting their ability to preserve precious food supplies. At the same time, communities and healthcare professionals continue to struggle with the lingering and painful impacts of the widespread chikungunya virus, compounding their vulnerability and urgent need for support.
Our Response
We are actively fundraising to distribute:
Baby formula and nutritional supplements
Antihypertensives (high blood pressure)
Medications to relieve pain (Tylenol, Acetaminophen, Aspirin)
Anti-inflammatories (Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen)
Colostomy bags (adult and pediatric sizes)
Manual blood pressure cuff
Urinary catheters (adult/pediatric sizes)
Nasal cannulas for oxygen
Syringes, needles, sutures
Kit to start IVs
Surgical gloves, tape and gauze
Thermometers and glucometers
Feminine products (pads, period panties)
Multivitamins for children and seniors
Essential prescription medicines (antibiotics, insulin)
Solar powered flashlights, lamps, and water pumps
All supplies are sourced responsibly and delivered through trusted local community partners who understand the needs on the ground. Distribution is prioritized for:
Elderly individuals
Children and infants
People with chronic medical conditions
Families with limited or no income
Individuals in remote or transportation-restricted areas

Our Commitment
Every dollar raised is directed toward purchasing and delivering humanitarian supplies. We work closely with reliable local contacts to ensure that aid reaches those most vulnerable in the community quickly and efficiently.
Our organization maintains strict neutrality — we are not affiliated with any political or religious group. Our only commitment is to humanitarian relief.
This is not a one-time effort. The situation in Cuba continues to evolve. As fuel shortages and economic pressures persist, we are prepared to scale up our operations to meet increasing needs.
With your support, we can expand food distribution, increase access to medicines, and strengthen local networks delivering life-saving assistance.
